The best adults-only resorts for a babymoon in 2027
For an adults-only babymoon, Naviva, A Four Seasons Resort, in Punta Mita is our first pick: 15 tented bungalows, never more than 30 guests, a minimum age of 16 and dining in your tent at any hour. On Mexico's Caribbean coast, Secrets Maroma Beach Riviera Cancún was named to AAA's 2026 Top 10 Hotels list. In the Caribbean, Jade Mountain on St. Lucia holds AAA Five Diamond status and two MICHELIN Keys.
An adults-only policy keeps a resort quiet. For a babymoon, we also checked how long the transfer takes, whether there's food at any hour, and what the spa says about treatments in pregnancy. Ratings come from AAA, Forbes Travel Guide, the MICHELIN Guide and Condé Nast Traveler.

Methodology in brief
We included only resorts with a published adults-only age policy, then ranked them on four criteria.
Criterion | What it captures |
Acclaim | AAA Diamond designations, Forbes Travel Guide stars, MICHELIN Keys and Condé Nast Traveler lists |
Pregnancy fit | Published babymoon packages, named prenatal treatments, spa policies on pregnancy, and 24-hour dining |
Getting there | Drive or boat time from the nearest international airport |
Season | Sargassum exposure on the Caribbean coast and hurricane season on both coasts |
Mexico's Pacific coast: no sargassum
Punta Mita, Puerto Vallarta and Los Cabos sit on the Pacific, out of reach of the Atlantic sargassum that reaches Mexico's Caribbean beaches. The eastern Pacific hurricane season runs from May 15 to November 30, so winter and spring are the easiest months for a babymoon here.

Location: The Punta Mita peninsula in Riviera Nayarit, about 45 minutes by car from Puerto Vallarta International Airport (PVR).
Why We Love It: With 15 tented bungalows and never more than 30 guests, it's the smallest resort on this list, and dining in your bungalow runs 24 hours.

Cocina Copal cooks over an open fire with no standing menu, and the Selva Pool serves fresh juices and tonics. A Naviva guide gets in touch before you arrive to plan the stay, which is the moment to mention the pregnancy. In 2026, Condé Nast Traveler gave Naviva its Triple Crown: the Hot List, the Gold List and the Readers' Choice Awards.

How to plan an adults-only babymoon
The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) calls mid-pregnancy, from 14 to 28 weeks, the best time to travel, and recommends seeing your ob-gyn at least four to six weeks before a trip abroad. Airline rules tighten near the due date: American Airlines asks for a doctor's certificate within four weeks of it, and United requires one in the ninth month.
Tell the resort you're pregnant when you book. Spas plan treatments around it, and at resorts with heat rituals, steam rooms or hydrotherapy, it's worth asking which ones to skip. The CDC lists Mexico and much of the Caribbean among areas with current or past Zika transmission, and it advises pregnant travelers to talk to a health care provider before going.
